Elodie LE BREUT is director and programmer of AMI, an association based at the Friche la Belle de Mai, a public-interest structure for musical artists, cultural entrepreneurs and local residents.
With its 6 creation studios (100 groups a year), AMI is a place for up-and-coming and established artists, and a place to support cultural entrepreneurs via its Dynamo platform. More specifically, the association promotes an artistic approach that focuses on innovative music and the urban arts.
The association is developing a strategy on a local, regional, national and international scale, based on 5 key areas of work in a 360° approach:
- CULTURAL PRACTICES & ACTIONS: Encouraging artistic practice, a relationship with creation and its professions through workshops, mediation and artistic and cultural education;
- PLATEFORME DYNAMO - Support for cultural entrepreneurship (business incubator, coworking, consulting and QUALIOPI-certified training, networking and internationalization);
- REPETITION, PROFESSIONALIZATION & INTEGRATION OF ARTISTS: A path of support, from pre-production to networking (creative studios, professional training and workshops, coaching and technical support);
- RESIDENCIES & CREATIVE ASSISTANCE: Tools, a network of players and artistic expertise to support emerging artists and their creation, as well as their international development;
- PROGRAMMING & HIGHLIGHTS: Make visible the process of supporting and defending its artistic line in the direction of innovative music and urban arts (co-productions, concerts and festivals HIP HOP SOCIETY & Jamais d'Eux Sans Toi).
