After many years in event production in China with the company he co-founded, Élie turned to artist development and the export of Chinese music. Having built up the international department of record label Sea of Woods, he now focuses on developing partnerships and representing the label's artists internationally.
In 2024 this meant producing an artist residency with Voyou in partnership with the French Embassy in China, forging closer ties with iconic Southeast Asian reggae bands such as Srirajah Rockers and Marapu, and participating in key events such as AXEAN 2024, World Music Festival @Taiwan 2024, WOMEX 2024, and of course MaMA 2024.
