Amélie DUVERNOY has been an independent music publisher for some fifteen years.
From 2010, she worked for almost 5 years as head of publishing at Sophiane Productions, based in Clermont-Ferrand (Cocoon, Elderberries, etc.).
Amélie then joined the Kalima Productions team in early 2015, where she managed the label and music editions for 6 years, while also co-directing the Aurores Montréal Festival.
In 2016, she decided to set up her own publishing company, Les Cousines, specializing in catalog management. Together with her associate, she manages all the administrative and contractual aspects of her clients' publishing activities, and represents them in dealings with both Sacem and industry professionals.
At the same time, she has been teaching copyright since the start of her career, and offers numerous training courses on the music publishing profession (Université d'Auvergne, Sorbonne Nouvelle, Cifap in Montreuil, Cours Florent Musique, Écoles Atla & Iesa Paris, Pôle Info Musique in Marseille).
She joined the training commission of the Chambre Syndicale Des Éditeurs de Musique in July 2023, and her mandate has since been renewed for the 2024/2025 financial year.
Amélie is Vice-President of the Réseau des Musiques Actuelles de Paris.
