Alexander Cuntz heads the Creative Economy Section at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva. He is responsible for WIPO's economic research on the creative industries. Before joining WIPO, he worked as a senior consultant at the Federal Expert Commission for Research and Innovation (EFI) in Berlin and as a research fellow at the European Commission in Seville. His economic research focuses on creativity, the role of intellectual property rights and the impact of digitization on creative sectors.
