Alain Veille has been President of Warner Music France, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group, since 2021. Warner Music France is one of the three main majors in the music industry, with two local labels, Le Pôle (Atlantic Records France, Rec. 118 and ADA the distribution label), Parlophone and WEA, the international label. WMF represents renowned artists such as Soprano, Ed Sheeran, Aya Nakamura, Ninho, Amir, Alain Souchon, Dua Lipa, Christophe Maé and Coldplay.
After studying at the ICN Business School in Nancy, Alain continued his studies in New York at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).
He began his career in the music industry in 1991, working for EMI Music France.
He then joined Sony Music's marketing department from 1993 to 1997, before moving on to Universal Music France and then Universal Music International in London.
In 2001, Alain Veille became General Manager of WEA within Warner Music France, where he was responsible for marketing and promoting Warner Music Group's international repertoires via the label for sixteen years. (Madonna, Nile Rodgers, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Lily Allen, Cardi B and Ed Sheeran).
In 2014, Alain launched the French electronic music label Big Beat Paris with Feder and Ofenbach.
He also oversaw its international development, supervising the export of internationally successful French artists such as ZAZ, Aya Nakamura, David Guetta and Master KG.
In 2018, Warner Music France opened a department dedicated to audio and video streaming, audience management, data, digital content creation and innovations. Alain Veille takes over as Managing Director of Digital.
