Romain Laleix has been deputy CEO of the Centre national de la musique since January 6, 2020. Before joining the establishment at its creation, he was vice-president of the prefiguration committee of the Centre national de la musique. An alumnus of EM Lyon, Romain Laleix has spent most of his career in the cultural industries. Head of the Public Audiovisual Office at the Ministry of Culture's General Directorate for Media and Cultural Industries, between May 2011 and January 2016, he joined the cabinet of the Minister of Culture, Audrey Azoulay, in February 2016, as advisor in charge of audiovisual and cinema. In September 2017, Romain Laleix joined Bureau Export, where he became General Secretary, contributing to the association's reform and to the various stages of the prefiguration of the Centre national de la musique.
