Since 2015, Oumar Samaké has been at the helm of his own label, SPKTAQLR, when it was set up it was affiliated with Capitol/Universal Music France. He produces Dinos, Dosseh, Momsii and Steban. Since 2019, he has also been managing Lacrim. For SPKTAQLR, 2021 is the year of consecration: Dinos goes platinum with stamina, memento, his third solo album, while Lacrim makes a critically acclaimed comeback with Persona Non Grata.
Oumar Samaké began his career as manager of Pit Baccardi, then Kennedy. In 2007, he created the Golden Eye structure, under which he developed a publishing side with composers Blastar, Cannibal Smith and Richie Beats, and a label side on which he produced the We Made It compilation (Mac Tyer, Rim'K, Lino, Sofiane...). In 2013, he was appointed Artistic Director of Def Jam/Universal Music France, while continuing to develop his structure. In particular, he worked on projects for Dinos, Joke and Dosseh, and was behind the signing of Kaaris after his departure from AZ in 2014. With Dosseh, he built up an artistic and commercial momentum that would eventually be crowned platinum with the album VIDALO$$A and diamond with the hit Habitué.
