After an initial career in the service of music for images, advertising, stage music and creations for young audiences, Olivier Delevingne is now turning to creations combining music and poetry. Inspired by the creations of the pioneers of electro-acoustic music, he shapes compositions at the crossroads between electronic traditions, musique concrete and modernity in the use of the most recent electronic and digital violin making technologies of which he is an expert. .
In 2024, he published with Éditions universitaire de Dijon, the first work dealing with the ecosystem of musical creation from the point of view of a composer: Musical creation and technologies, from the shaman to the slasher. Jean-Michel Jarre signs the preface.
Corollary of this desire for transmission, since 2014 and in parallel with his career as a composer, Olivier has developed intense institutional activity for the representation of artist-authors and the defense of their rights in France and in Europe. The professional press regularly calls on his expertise on copyright news and the economics of the music industry.
