Olga Sismanidi is a senior expert on EU funding in the context of the Creative Europe programme, where she manages the development and implementation of a multi-disciplinary portfolio in the fields of music, digital arts, innovation, digitalisation and cross-sectorial approaches to the culture media. At the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), she currently steers eleven European Music Networks and Music Platforms representing the music industry, opera and performing arts. Previously, she led the 'Access to Finance' action under the EU Media Programme, and several works on performance management and the European Platforms action of Creative Europe. She has held multiple roles on other EU funding programmes for innovation - research, entrepreneurship and technology after her time in the private communications industries, the IFPI and the BBC World Service.
