A passionate lover of music, Nathalie Roy has built up her musical culture by assiduously attending the Olympic, "La Route du Rock" and "Les Vieilles Charrues" festivals, listening to Bernard Lenoir's program on France inter and reading Magic.
Nathalie joined Sacem first at the Western Regional Office based in Rennes, then at the head office in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
She soon joined the "Musiques Actuelles" team within the "Action Culturelle" department. Sacem's Action Culturelle is tasked with developing the careers of female and male songwriters and composers, promoting their works and supporting creative and distribution projects. It is the natural partner for creators and their professional entourage.
In 2021, she will be promoted to Head of the Current Music Division, among other things to redesign programs in line with technological developments in the music industry and the needs of Sacem members.
It is in daily contact with creators through support for self-production, career coaching and jazz ensembles. It is also responsible for supporting professional integration structures and national festivals, and promotes the artists it supports on Sacem stages throughout the year.
In particular, her expertise is called upon to spot and develop emerging artists. She participates in numerous festival programming committees throughout the year.
