Jean-Michel Aubry Journet founded WOOKAÏ in 2015, with the trust of self-produced artists, currently including Venezuelan pop artist YADAM, as manager and co-publisher. YADAM's debut album "Belamor" has just passed 1 Million Streams on Spotify, as has his debut EP "Safeplace".

Jean-Michel is one of the founders of the anonymous collective @MusicTooFrance created in 2020 to denounce sexist and sexual violence in the music industry.

Since January 2024, he has been Director of the Cours Florent Musique, a school that trains 150 of tomorrow's songwriters, composers and performers every year.
