Jake is an artist manager who also advises music artists and technology companies on business strategy and development.
Jake has worked with self-released and signed artists in Asia, Europe and the United States. He has helped self-funded and self-released artists reach number two in album sales in the Netherlands, sign with major labels in the UK and secure deals with leading independent labels in the US. Drawing on his experience of the financial markets, he consults for rights technology companies and rights holders. His music rights and royalties clients include Beyonce, Rihanna, The Eagles, Radiohead and The Clash.
Jake has participated in music industry stakeholder dialogues with WIPO, the EU, the UK and US policy makers. He speaks regularly on artist management and innovation in the music industry worldwide.
Jake is Director of Innovation and Education at the International Music Managers Forum (IMMF), which links artists and managers from over 65 countries, with committees on intellectual property, live performance, finance and all aspects of the artists' business agenda. Funded by the European Commission and IMMF, Jake led the development of a music business training program covering all aspects of the industry.
As part of Project Zero, which supports ocean conservation projects, Jake was involved in the first ever launch of a social token by a registered charity, using Web3 to organize communities, including artist fan bases.
