With over fifteen years' experience in the music industry, Ariane Charbonneau has worked at Dare to Care Records, One Drop (the Cirque du Soleil foundation) and Opak Média, where she contributed to the development of numerous artists and creators, both English- and French-speaking. She collaborated with Indica Records on two album productions, one of which earned her the Boomerang Award for Best Social Media Strategy. She also has extensive experience in media and public relations, having worked in both the public and private sectors.
She then spent seven years at Stingray Musique, where she built a monthly French-language flagship channel and launched French-language PausePlay interviews, giving francophone artists increased exposure to 10 million subscribers. At the same time, she directed the Stingray Rising Stars program, working with 88 partners across Canada to develop Canadian content.
In 2021, she joined the SPACQ-AE team as Labor Relations Manager, before taking on the roles of Communications, Partnerships and Community Relations Manager. In April 2023, she was appointed General Manager.
Ariane Charbonneau also sits on the boards of Musicaction, MétaMusique and the Coalition pour la diversité des expressions culturelles (CDEC).
