Alain Veille has been the President of Warner Music France, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group, since 2021. Warner Music France is one of the three leading major players in the music industry, overseeing two local labels - Le Pôle (which includes Atlantic Records France, Rec. 118, and ADA, the distribution label) and Parlophone—as well as WEA, the international label. Warner Music France represents renowned artists such as Soprano, Ed Sheeran, Aya Nakamura, Ninho, Amir, Alain Souchon, Dua Lipa, Christophe Maé, and Coldplay.
Alain Veille completed his studies at ICN Business School in Nancy before continuing at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York. He began his career in the music industry in 1991 at EMI Music France. From 1993 to 1997, he worked in the marketing department at Sony Music, followed by roles in the marketing teams at Universal Music France and Universal Music International in London.
In 2001, Alain became Managing Director of WEA at Warner Music France. For 16 years, he oversaw marketing and promotion of Warner Music Group’s international repertoire, collaborating with artists such as Madonna, Nile Rodgers, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Lily Allen, Cardi B, and Ed Sheeran.
In 2014, in addition to his role at WEA, Alain launched Big Beat Paris, Warner’s French electronic music label, where he signed and developed the international successes of Feder and Ofenbach. He also led the international development and export of French artists with global success, including ZAZ, Aya Nakamura, David Guetta, and Master KG.
In 2018, Warner Music France established a department focused on audio and video streaming, audience management, data, digital content creation, and innovation. Alain Veille took the helm as General Manager of Digital, leading these initiatives.
