Many cities have recently invested in new, state-of-the-art concert infrastructure – Paris with the Adidas Arena or Manchester with Co-op Live, for example. The objective of these cities is to have a range of concert venues of all sizes. But isn’t there a risk of market saturation? How can we ensure that these investments meet a real need? Aren’t these big projects detrimental to more modest structures? And what are the expectations of live music professionals ?
