Wino? is a rapper, singer, DJ and dancer,
model, she wears many hats and wishes to mix
disciplines to create her own personal identity. Winona is above all a young black woman, adopted, who grew up in a musical climate. Wino? is a committed artist, writing about what she lives, what she sees, what affects her in one way or another. She also describes herself as a text-based artist, and doesn't want to restrict herself to a particular musical style. Indeed, Wino's influences range from French or US hip hop rap of the 90s to orchestral kompa, Afro and dancehall. Her aim is to shake up musical codes by offering to sing or rap over prods from different genres. In early December 2023, Wino? released her single "Mâle Alpha", alternating between rap and vocals; Wino? tells the unfiltered story of her friends, victims of the same man's repeated pattern of violence.
