The front of their studio might read "since 2022", but Tonique & Man have been working together for almost 5 years now, both behind the stove and behind the console. Trading in their floured aprons and pizza shovels
and their pizza shovels for guitars and synthesizers during recording sessions that are far more delicious. Above all, it's a story of complementarity and friendship. After working on each other's projects for several years, Jean Tonique and Mi Man decided to create a joint project: Tonique & Man.
A duo in the form of a small company, a business plan and a lifestyle tinted red and white that would bring together their shared passion for the disco of the Bee Gees, the TB-303 or the nonchalance of Benny Sings. Imbued with a certain 70s nostalgia, their music also features luminous orchestrations and more electronic textures. Their debut album "Opening Soon" can be enjoyed à la carte: 11 tracks composed in the energy of intimate, precious moments, in the urgency to seize the moment.
