After releasing the Rouperou Ep in 2023 on the Collectif Toujours label, the quartet will present their debut album at the end of 2024. A step towards more frontal music, somewhere between dub and post-punk. They recorded this album at Studio Télémaque with Cyrill Maudelonde, all four instruments in the same swing. Rouperou's musical approach gains in roughness without quite emerging from the haze. Louis Geslin's vocals are sharper, and in his writing he rubs shoulders with the invisible, the people and mechanisms that our world blurs in the editing process. After appearances at the Palma Festival and Gare La Rochette, Rouperou will be touring the country and its neighbors from next autumn.
