A mischievous look, bleached hair and a delicate, chipped voice: that’s Ronnie. Born in 1997 in Grenoble, the young woman writes and composes songs on the guitar that are both indie-folk and indoor pop, with as much nonchalance as elegance. Both introverted and whimsical, in the style of November Ultra, Pomme or Clairo, Ronnie’s project has its roots in childhood: Ronnie was the name she and her brother gave to a turtle – an animal with which she shares the gentleness, light shell and instinct.
