Porcelain id is the pseudonym under which Hubert Tuyishime (they/them) has been releasing his original pop soul songs since 2020. In recent years, the artist has emerged as one of the most promising talents on the Belgian scene, building a reputation for his live performances. His always sincere and authentic compositions incorporate both pop and lo-fi electro.
Porcelain id's debut album, "Bibi:1", inspired by his move from a peaceful village to a big city, will be available from 2024. The project is as much an ode to the exciting encounters of complete strangers who become friends who make you feel at home as it is about the difficulty of feeling like an outsider in a city that we idealize and that rejects us. With this album, Porcelain id seems on the verge of carving out a place for itself on the Belgian and international scene, far from the dictates and beaten track.
