Nina Versyp is just 23 years old, and already her music - dreamy, venomous pop-folk - is an escape from the ordinary. Her melodic clarity is effective but not smooth. Her clear timbre imposes her physical presence. Her phantasmagorical outbursts intrigue.
As a child, she left for China, where her family settled. The following year, they moved to Washington DC, then two years later to Bristol, before settling in Manchester for three years, where she obtained her bachelor's degree and gave her first small concerts in pubs.
On stage, Nina Versyp evolves without artifice, electric guitar-voice, and delivers, in their rawest form, the dozen or so songs she composed in her bedroom.
Her first EP, "Paralysed", was released in February 2024, featuring tracks such as Go Outside and Blinds, which she has already played to audiences including Pomme, Clara Ysé and Zaho de Sagazan.
