Loupe, an indie pop quartet from Amsterdam, have a unique gift for sounding both impulsive and hypnotic: a fluid sound in which styles such as synth-pop, indie folk and indie rock are expressed through a unique chemistry.
If anything motivates the band, it's the "what's next?" part of life's ever-complicated equation, the constant motion of chasing a glimmer beyond the horizon.
Recorded by producer Arne van Petegem (Moss, Styrofoam) and mixed by Beau Sorenson (Death Cab For Cutie, Sparklehorse), Loupe is already causing a stir in Northern Europe, with several tours with bands such as Porridge Radio and Moss (Germany, England), as well as notable appearances at the Reeperbahn Festival, Eurosonic and The Great Escape this year.
