Kids Return is first and foremost a story of childhood friendship between Adrien Rozé and Clément Savoye. It was between their small Paris studio and a house suspended between the mountains of the Pyrenees that their songs were born, then orchestrated by a string quartet in the countryside. The result is a dreamlike, sensory music, a call to dream. A music that takes root outside time.
Forever Melodies is Kids Return's first album, following on from their first four singles, released between 2021 and the present day. This album is ten skilfully refined pop tracks, imbued with nostalgia, astounding sincerity (break-ups, stories of friendship, love, physical anguish, the passage to adulthood), and a boundless love for dressing up melodies. This album has been orchestrated as an intimate journey through space and time: the film of their lives.
