DoFlame is Mateo Naranjo, a 21-year-old from Brampton, Canada.
Born of gigs in garages and basements of this Toronto suburb's burgeoning scene, the project's first releases brought a wild new energy to the city, with the simple aim of establishing the mantra: "think big, go big, destroy".
That same year, the release of debut album DoStroy in partnership with Toronto label 444% placed DoFlame at the heart of a young generation of artists creating new, borderless sounds in punk, hardcore and alternative rap.
Taking its first steps with a proper international release, DoFlame's new album, Bent, enters 2024 as an exhilarating and relentless blend of genres, driven by an undeniable energy both live and on record.
